Personality Step 3 - Thinking or Feeling?

Option #1 - THINKING PERSON
My decisions are normally based
on logical considerations.
In my job, analytical thinking
and sensible action are required.
I normally give my honest opinion.
Many consider me to be too strict
because I do not let mistakes pass.
I am not always aware of the latest developments
in my circle of friends and acquaintances.
I can handle it quite well
when someone criticises me
or perhaps does not like me.
Nuances are not really my thing,
people should say straight out what they want.
I love discussions
and to even fight for something.
Above all,
I let myself be guided by my brain.
I do not like emotional outbreaks
by myself or by others.

Option #2 - FEELING PERSON
I mostly base my decisions
on my instinct.
I like working with people
and have no difficulty empathizing with them
and being responsive to them.
I try not to hurt others with my words.
I tend to concentrate more
on the positive sides of a person
and do not find weaknesses to be so bad.
I am always the first person
people call if they have something new to tell.
I am rather sensitive and am quickly hurt.
I quickly sense when something
is being said between the lines.
I try to avoid disputes
because harmony is very important to me.
I listen to my feelings.
Feelings are important and should always be shown.

Personality Step 2 - Sensing or Intuitive?

Option #1 - SENSING PERSON
When making decisions,
I let myself be guided by my five senses.
I do not like to leave things to chance.
My mottos is:
the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
I prefer to work practically.
I normally have no problem
sharing my personal space and time with others.
When I have my mind on a certain matter,
I stick at it until everything is in line
with what I have in mind.
I like to tackle real everyday problems.
When working,
my strong points include
patience and carefulness.
On the whole,
I am satisfied with my life.
Above all, I live in the here and now.
go to step 3 Option #2 - INTUITIVE PERSON
When making decisions,
I mostly let myself be guided by my intuition.
I do not like it
when everything is exactly foreseeable.
I give problems considerable thought
in order to find solutions.
I prefer to work theoretically.
I need my own personal space
and a lot of time to myself.
I enjoy starting something new -
I quickly become bored with old projects.
One could almost say
that I have a philosophical streak.
I prefer to work roughly -
but the result is usually still okay.
I am always searching for new ideas
and improvement possibilities.
I think a lot about the future.

Personality Step 1 - Extrovert or Introvert?

Option # 1 - EXTROVERT
I often have a lot of people around me.
I am easily distracted.
I find it easy to approach other people.
I find it easy to establish new contacts.
I often make impulsive decisions.
I prefer to be in the middle of things.
I have lots of friends.
I love activities and company.
I like to spend my time
with activities and people.
I never leave anyone in doubt
about what I think or my opinion.
My feelings are like me - lively and spontaneous.
My perfect vacation is traveling with a group of friends.
I prefer to discuss problems with others.
go to step 2
Option # 2 INTROVERT
I need a lot of time alone.
I like to think things through.
I am more the reserved type.
I approach new relationships carefully.
I think things over intensively before I act.
I am not one for large parties.
I prefer a quiet evening with a few friends.
I like to be alone and to daydream.
Very few know what I really think.
I am not easily worked up.
My idea of an ideal vacation is a solo trip,
perhaps to a lonely island or the mountains.
If something weighs on my mind,
I would rather work it out for myself.

Thoughts!

THOUGHTS
Are Like Clouds

CLOUDS
Come And Go In Fascinating Ways!

CLOUDS
Are Sometimes Black and Run Wild!

CLOUDS
Are Sometimes Heavy Storms, Even Tornados.
CLOUDS
Often Rise To Lofty Heights
And Shine In Dazzling Brightness.

THOUGHTS
At Times Are Wonderful.

THOUGHTS
At Other Times Are Horrible And We Hide Them.

THE SKY
Embraces Any Kind of Cloud
And Let's Them All Play Freely.

THE SKY
Is Never Carried Away By The Clouds.
Don't Be Tossed About
By Thoughts of Enlightment Or Delusion.

JUST ONE STEP
Is To Settle In The Vast Openness Of The Sky.
JUST ONE STEP
Is Not To Be Puffed Up By Wonderful Clouds.
Not To Be Discouraged By Stormy Clouds.
JUST ONE STEP
Is When Our Body And Mind Are Completely Balanced.

The Expert's Mind

THE MIND OF THE EXPERT
there are few possibilities

THE MIND OF THE EXPERT
too demanding... too greedy...
NOT rich... NOT self-sufficient

THE MIND OF THE EXPERT
when you long for something,
you will end up violating your own precepts.
you will lie... you will steal... you will kill...
you will be immoral...

THE MIND OF THE EXPERT
self-centered thoughts
limiting our vast mind

A Child's Mind

THE MIND OF A CHILD

The Mind of a Child is
EMPTY
The Mind of a Child is
FREE
The Mind of a Child is
READY

READY to accept...READY to doubt...
The Mind of a Child is
OPEN
to all the possibilities

The Mind of a Child
can see things as they are.

RIGHT PRACTICE

RIGHT ATTITUDE

RIGHT UNDERSTANDING

THE MIND OF A CHILD

buoyancy... vigor... straightforwardness...

simplicity... humility... serenity... joyousness...

uncanny perspicacity... unfathomable compassion!

THE MIND OF A CHILD
To live in the reality of the present...
NOT extraordinariness BUT utter ordinariness.

Strengths without any sense of praise.
Shortcomings without any sense of criticism.

Christian Counseling

PRACTICE . . . A WAY TO GROWTH . . .

Self Actualization
is the intrinsic growth of what is already in the organism,
or more accurately, of what the organism is.
Abraham Maslow

Awareness
is the key to recovery
from whatever it is that prevents you from experiencing
life as it is right now.

We are in need
of the insight and awareness that good counseling can facilitate.
